Mission Statement

The Italian Genealogical Society of America strives to promote Italian genealogy through research, writing, lecturing and instruction; to offer access to genealogical materials on the civil and parochial levels; to encourage preservation of genealogical and historical materials; and, to foster a greater awareness and positive action in the field of Italian genealogy in both America and Italy.
